Installed a 2" leveling kit today, I dont really have time to get to the alignment shop tommorow so my question is how far can I drive without wearing my tires unevenly?

I drove all the way down to school before I got my tires alligned, which is about 250 miles. My tires didn't really wear unevenly. So you can probably go a few days without getting your wheels aligned.

I'm no tire expert, but they won't wear down enough for you to notice in only a coulpe of days. I wouldn't go more than 2 or 3k miles. Try to get it done this weekend.

It all depends on how much stuff you removed to install the kit. Usually if you just take apart the minimum amount of stuff your alignment shouldnt be too far off.

I installed the same kit and went straight to the alignment shop. my guy at the shop said its a good thing I did, the toe in was out by quite a bit. He said it would have scrapped my new BFG's in short order.

I was actaully the same way. I went to Firestone and they told me that my allignment was fine, so what I get from this is that everbody is different when they install a leveling kit.

It's better to be safe than sorry... Have your truck checked as soon as possible.

Get it done as soon as you can. A good alignment tech can have it checked in 15 minutes. That's about how long it takes me to set a vehicle up on our alignment rack at work.

When I had my truck aligned, it took the mechanic less than 20 minutes to adjust it and have it set for me.
