Changing TPM to new wheels

Tpms
I thought they sold bands for them so assuming they're the ones that mount that way, why couldn't you? Same thing with the valve stem ones, don't they just unscrew?
Sorry, neither of my trucks have them and you peaked my interest.

It depends on the bands. Not knowing what was installed on the other wheels, no one can answer without seeing what was put on. If they used OE style, then no they cannot be reused.

Similar problem with my 06.
It uses the screw in type so no bands. Problem came when I wanted to pull the TPMS from the 22" wheels and have them put in a set of 20" OEM wheels. $40 per wheel because they have to unmount and remount the tire. Then tack on $20 for putting them in the new wheels. The sensor is only $63 new. I just left them in and am going to buy new.
As for the bands, the ones the originally got for my 06 before they realized I didn't need them were the crimp on use once type. They are the cheapest and will usually be what they install unless you ask for the others specifically.

for you guys that don't want to spend the money on new sensors I have a cheap solution.
1. get a THREADED pvc tube about 10-12"s long.
2. Glue a cap on one end
3. Put a valve stem (threaded type) on the cap
4. throw all 4 sensors in the tube
5. screw the cap on
6. pressurize to recommended psi
7. throw the tube in the glove box or center console
