Hi, guys. I just got a new to me F-150 ( in my sig) and the tires are almost gone, so I am goin to have to replace them soon. Now, I don't really like the stock rims that are on it either and was thinking about replacing those at the same time if I can get a good deal on used ones. I've found a couple decent deals for wheel/tire sets in some classifieds, but at least one of the sets is a 16" wheel. I wouldn't mind having the smaller rim, I just don't know how small of a wheel can fit over my brakes since the stock wheel is a 17". I'm thinking of turning up the torsion bars and going with 285's or 33's. Thanks in advance for the help and advice!

Ironic you should post this question as I just logged on to post a similar one. I've got a 2010 FX2 due to be delivered in the next month and I've already got plans to change out the stock 20" rims/tires. A friend owns an '03 SCrew and wants to buy them from me and we are wondering if they will fit.

Please let us know what you find out. And I'll do the same.

First, the 03 will accomodate 16-22 and maybe 24s, but they have to be 5 lug. 04s and up will accomodate 17-24 but have 6 lugs.

Went from 17's down to 16's on mine and fits fine

 

Factory 16 or 17" on the 97-03 unless you get a "special edition" harley or lightning

You can fit 15s with a little bit of work on the rear, not sure about the fronts.

but i think the answer you're looking for is 16"
