Road Hazard warranty?

Ready to spring for new a/t ko. They ask if I want the extended warranty. Provides for replacement above and beyongd mfg warranty. Anybody have an opinion on this. Its $28 per tire $112 total. I dont really like extended warranty nbut in this case Im not sure. Only thing is after first 25% treadlife its prorated. Should I save the $100?

It's just insurance.....I think it really depends on how aggressive you are in your travels. If you off-road in terrain that is full of rocks, wood, debris, etc. and do it at a fair speed.....you may want the peace of mind that the warranty provides. I have always purchased the warranty for the last 20 years and have used it twice.....but then again.....I'm a pretty conservative driver off road.

I always get it on my tires. My dad was running bfg mts in a 37 and had a gash in the sidewall and it was replaced for free. I'd rather have it and never use it then not have it at all imo.

I've always got the warranty on my tires and Its paid off every time. Just think If one of your tires gets damaged it pays for its self plus some. Especially if you have a buddy at discount tire and all your tires gets slashed like mine did on my expedition.
