Nitto Terra vs BFG A/T's

Just wanted to hear a few opinions. I can get a set of BFG A/T's for around $80 more the the Nitto Terra Grapplers in the same size. Would you or would you not? Heard good about both but more for the BFG's then the Nittos. Thanks for any opinions.

bfg no doubt, i worked at discount tire for about 4 months, nitto terra grapplers are decent tires but most people got the bfgs especially if you plan to use them offroad i would pass on the terra grapplers

For my 2-cents, I would suggest you will like the BFG's much better after 20 or 30k. My experience with BFG AT tires is they tend to balance well and the don't get overly loud as the miles add up.
Another bonus to BFGs - they are pretty easy to sell if you decide to move to a different tire or size.

I would say the BFG will get 10 to 20 thousand more miles then the terra's but both are good tires. Can't go wrong with either.

BFG's not only do they last longer, perform better offroad but they look so much better IMO

Both perform great, BFG does a little better in off road situations. BFGs look best with stock wheels, Terras look great with any aftermarket wheel.

I have 50k on my T/G and can easly get another 10k out of them, but the BFG can do that also. For the price I say T/G.

Bfg's are better offroad. They look the best with stock wheels imo. And a little bit more miles from them. I think they're $80 better than the nitto's.

Im not so sure about this being better offroad. They dont look like they have a lug pattern that would clean out very well, but ive never had them offroad. I know as daily drivers from people i know, get a crap ton of mileage out of there BFG's, but i am also hearing the same out of the TG....they just dont have the rep as the bfg. I own the TG so i can only vouch for them and saying they do everything i need them to do...hunt, fish, dirt grade at work in the rain.....no prob bob! 13k on mine so far and not much wear on em.

I see that the BFG A/T has great support on this group; however, they are rated only #11 of 23 on tirerack for A/T tires by the many, many customer reviews (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey....jsp?type=ORAT). What gives?

What you don't have is the larger sizes that a lot of member's like and the aggressive styling that goes with it. Not too many on here run Firestone AT's or Bridgestones on lifted truck's. Not saying they're bad tires but more suited for stock replacement's.

I vote BFG's. Not a fan at all of the look of the T/G's. Heard a lot better things of the BFG's anyway.

I guess I'd go Trailer Grappler if i went with Nitto...unless i had an insane lift, then Mud Grap's would be had.
