Biggest tire on 20s with leveling kit
Hey guys, its that time again to buy new tires for my truck ( 2005 f150 supercrew fx4) . Im currenly riding on the stock tires and rims. I figured if im going to spend the money, I might as well spend a little extra and get what i want.
The question is what is the biggest tire i can fit on a set of Mamba M1 20s with little to no rubbing?
The specs are:
Offset: +30mm
Backspacing: 6.18"
Bolt Pattern: 6-135
Rec. Tire Size:275/55-20
Weight: 39.0lbs.
Also, I want my truck to sit as level as possible so i was thinking about a 2.5" leveling kit. I would rather have the front a little lower than the back, than have the front sit higher than the back. Is a 2.5" right for me?
Sorry for all the questions, i have been searching and banging my head on my computer desk for a while now, these darn tire sizes are confusing and driving me nuts. Thanks in advance guys.

I ran 285/65/20s with my old rims that were +35 offset, that size should fit your just fine too. Or some 35x12x20 should fit fine. I'm still running the 285/65/20 tires on my new wheels.
I'd go with a 2.0" leveling kit, it'll help keep you from getting the nose up look you don't want, and the angles won't be as extreme up front.

Hey guys, thanks for the quick replies. Do you really think i could run 35s on those rims with no rubbing? That is a butt-load of rubber. I was hoping to be able to put 35/12/20 on those rims initially, just wasnt sure how much if any rubbing i would have to deal with.
NCSU nice truck man, i like the no running board look, might have to do the same with mine. Why did you decide to go with 285/65/20 instead of 35/12/20?
Whats the difference between the two anyway?

I went with the 285/65/20 because I wanted to get the BFG T/A KOs and they don't come in a 35" that fits a 20" rim.
The 285 is a little skinnier than the 35x12.
