I just bought these on ebay:

Its 18" xd monsters with 285/65/18 trail grapplers. It says the tires are 33" by 11.5" rims have +18 offset. Should I go ahead and buy the level kit or will I be ok? Im gonna eventually get a level kit, but the wheels just broke my wallet. Will I be cool to drive on em on the stock height? Its a 2005 FX4 Screw.

You will be just fine man. If you put a leveling kit on it then you would be able to run 35s with the right wheel. But narrow 33s will be just fine. I want some pics when you get them on!

 

I agree. But they will look better with a leveling kit.

 

Yeah im gonna go with a 2.5 Hell Bent steel off ebay in a few weeks. My wife took my CC after she saw how much i spent on wheels.

You should be fine. I would go with the leveling kit as well. Much better look. Truxx makes a nice kit that will bring the front up 3" and rear 1".

You would be better off sticking with the 2.5 HBS. Ball joints will suffer pretty bad going 3".
