~ VOTE! Wheel/tire combo opinion

I am having a hard time deciding on a few wheel/tire combos!
I currently have teh stock 20" w/pirelli's and I am installing my Rancho 2" Levling kit in a few weeks....

I wanted to get bigger tires....but am debating on the wheel size. Normally I would not go with anything bigger than a 18" wheel for an off road vehicle....but the 20's on the truck now do not look all that big!

20x9 Wheels w/305-55 Tires (33.3" tall tire.......12" wide)
or
18x9 Wheels w/295-70 Tires (24.4" tall tire.......11.6" wide)

Wheels will be the Ballistic Chrome Wizard-810 wheels (Both 20" & 18" have a +30 offset)
Tires will "most likely" be the Nitto Terra Grapplers

The stock tires are about a 31.2" tall tire, sol If I go taller tire and smaller wheel will it look funny!?

I vote the 20's, you may want to go bigger one day and I think the 20's look better than 18's with 35+ tires. Good luck!

Nothing smaller than a 20" wheel. Get the 33" toyo mt. I had the terra's and after a while they started to look like street tires. You may want to look into a lower offset. +30 will stick in the fender well a lot giving the truck a narrow stance. That's just my opinion b/c I prefer a wider stance.

Depends on what your intentions are. If it's a pavement queen get the 20s for looks. I was always a fan for bigger wheels with offroad tires until I got my raptor and after having my old truck with 8" lift and 37s. The wheels are heavy and to me they make the ride rougher.

I have heard jsut a few unhappy Terra Grappler results...
I want to go with an agressive All-Terrain ..... th eTrail grapplers look good but I fear they are not gonna wear as nice as the Terra's.

I was thinking Pro-Comp Xtreme all-terrains too!?

Looks like the over all vote is for 20's when it comes to wheels!

I vote 18s, never liked 20s. Never really understood putting big rims with itty bitty sidewall on something that goes off the beaten path. Nothing's funner than chipping and denting up your rims I guess.
