Do Wagner TQ's need thermal grease?

Well? It doesn't look like they do, but has anyone who's used them ever put the thermal grease on the backing? I'm going to be doing mine tomorrow.

No, they have a dampner built in, they need nothing. I'm on my second set.

How many miles did you get out of the first set?

Doing the fronts on my truck and the wife's car. $40 off $100 coupon at Advance Auto and $30 MIR on the TQ's, cost me about $30 after tax for both

I put 80,000 on the first set and had pad left, maybe 15,000 or so more miles. I had the wheels off and new pads, so went ahead and changed them. Second set is just a dustless and quiet as the first set. I have 16,000 on the second set.

How much did you get on stock rotors, or did you replace them at the same time? I'm just doing pads for now. When should I think about changing the rear pads out?

Rotors are another story. I had a bearing go out at 41,000 so replaced both front rotors and they still looked like new. I had put the TQs on at 11,000 to get rid of the dust.65,000 miles later, had another bearing failure in one of the Raybestos rotors and replaced it last week with O'Rielly's cheap Chinese rotor. It was night and I had to get it back on the road. So my pads have been swapped on different rotors with no problem.

Just keep an eye on the rears and change them when you get down to about 1/4" of pad left. I do a visual everytime I rotate the tires.
