05 Wheels on a 2010 XLT Screw?

Will these fit without any issues? I currently have the 20's but would like to go to a 18 inch wheel. I have found a set of 05 Aluminum Alloys off of a FX4 but would like to know in regards to the larger brakes if they will fit?

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think anyone has tried, but I don't see why they would not fit.

I remember someone on here posting about how they used 2004 17" XLT wheels as their winter wheels on their 2009 F150.

That said, should be the same for you.

That was me, using XLT wheels (17"). However there was a thread in the 09 up forum about the 18" FX4 wheels hitting the caliper on an o9. Not due to diameter, but due to width. My 17" JUST clears the calipers on width.

A couple of threads.

So from what I'm reading, the 18" 2005 FX4 Rim will need a 1/4" spacer on the front in order to clear the calipers?
I'd rather not go with a spacer but I want to go with a better tire for winter than the stock pirellis that came with it.

I may just go with a 2" AS kit and the 275/65/20 Terras?

17" wheels should fit over the brakes with no problems.

The problem isn't the diameter of the brakes, it is the width of the calipers. In some cases the OE wheels for for earlier model F150s (04-08) hit the sides of the calipers. The wheels fit over the caliper fine.

I have read posts that have said every wheel from 04-08's fit the 09-10's EXCEPT the FX4 wheels due to the width, or bs or something. I've seen a few who said the fx4 18's do not fit 09-10's without spacers..
