Advantages of 33 vs 35 tires???

Hey I was just wondering wether or not there is any advantage or disadavantage to bigger tires. Say I get some mud or aggresive all terrains, what size should I get? Also I have a 2.5 leveling kit so I'm pretty sure the 35s will fit but I have 18 inch rims.

35's look better but you suffer a more noticable amount of power loss over 33's

Right. Also, 35's will give you more ground clearance offroad.

The 35's cost you 6% in acceleration, to amplify on what offroadin'98 said. I think you'll "feel" a 6% loss. In addition, you will lose fuel economy, because the engine will have to work harder to get you up to speed and to keep you there. I can't give you a figure for the mpg loss though.

As wandell said, you will gain approximately 1 inch of ground clearance.

Do the larger tires look better? That's subjective and is totally your call.

Bigger is always better when it comes to appearance. I have the leveling kit on my 2004 with 35x12.5R20's and it really filled it in for a much better look.

Thanks guys for all the info. I'm not really into the whole losing power thing but I do like the clearance. But we'll see what happens when I actually get the money
