wheel and tire question for 2010 f150

im thinking about putting a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2010 f150 and was wondering would 35x12.50x20 mud grapplers and 20x10 rockstar rims fit. And what offset would work with this.

That should fit just fine under there. I would recommend the -24mm offset. The XD Rockstar wheel for your truck is not TPMS compatible. So you will not be able to use your sensors.

Personally I don't think a 20x10 with a -24mm offset and 35" tires will fit on any F150 with just a leveling kit but I could be wrong. I know they wouldn't on an 04-08 but I'm still learning on the 09-10 models.

Are all rims not compatible with TPMS sensors?

According to our fitment team here at the Tire Rack it shows that wheel to fit with a leveling kit. If you unsure you can always test fit 1. I think you will be fine.

Yea, not all wheels are TPMS compatible.

i just put on some 20x9" rims with a 35x12.50 tire on my 2010 fx4. i have a 2.5 level on it and had to do a little bit of trimming, but it was worth it! the rims have 20mm offset.

Not to hijack the thread but do you know if 20x10 Diamo 17K wheels with a 6x135mm bolt pattern and a -12mm offset are compatible with TPMS sensors?

Not sure about that wheel. Its not one that we carry. I would call the company selling them. They should know.

I'd stick with a 33x12.50 if you are gonna use a 10 inch wide wheel.

Your upper control arms will be at a sharp angle with the 2.5" kit on your truck - they are at a significant angle on my '09 with a 2" AS kit. Also, I recommend removing your lower control arm bolts to get the strut back in instead of forcing your binding CV joints down with a bottle jack or large lever as many seem to do. (A spring compressor will not help.)

I bought a 2010 F150 XLT regular cab. Based on the advice of Wandell & Friends, I successfully mounted Nitto Terra Grappler 305/50/20s on F150 Platinum Edition wheels. I can fit my middle finger at the knuckle between the tire and control arm. No rubbing whatsoever and the wheel/tire combination looks awesome! On a side note, I also mounted small Platinum Edition fender flares through Ford's body shop and they look great.

Wandell, you might like to know the Ford Service Team Manager at Ted Britt Ford is going to replace his taller/thinner Terra Grapplers on his personal F150 with 305/50/20s. He had no idea they would fit his truck and, to quote him directly, he is "jealous" (in a friendly manner) of my truck's look. One of these days I'm going to take digital pictures and post them here.

Thanks again to F150 Online!
