An interesting point that he broght up as to why the error was getting thrown was that as the tires warm up, it goes past the allowable amount of the TPMS. In other words, I was running my Nitto Trail Grapplers at 45 PSI. As they warmed up, the PSI was getting close to 50. i guess the TPMS doesnt like it. After the reset, I dropped the PSI down to 38.
Which is too low for those tires. You now have less than half the load carrying capacity of the tires. At half, the cannot handle the GAWR of your truck by 400lbs, and you went below that. You might want to finds another way around your problem.

Besides which, the recommended pressure for my truck with LR C tires is 45. Other vehicles, especially those with the 8200lb GVW come with LR E tires, which would have a higher pressure. That isn't your problem.

Have you or anyone else used these? I need a set for my '07 Lariat. I'm putting on bigger wheels and tires in the spring. Thanks.

In all honesty, it would be much cheaper to get aftermarket straps and move your sensors to the new wheels, rather than starting over with new sensors and valve stem mounts.

I failed to mention that the I'll still be running the stock wheels/tires in the winter. So I will need the extra set.

In that case, new ones make sense. You will also need a training tool for when you swap back and forth. Those you can get at the dealer fro about $25.

In all honesty, I have not used these yet I have a set in a box here waiting to put into new wheels for summer tires soon. I have been on the phone with Revolution Supply and have been assured that the new stem sensors will be a direct replacement for the earlier band type ones. I will know soon enough though.
