I just put some 295/70/18 (converts to 34.4 x 11.6) Trail Grapplers mounted on 18x9 XD Monsters on my truck this past weekend. I've got an AS 2.5 leveling kit and I had to trim about 1/4in off the plastic valence on the front. I also had to remove a screw on the rear portion of the front fender "flare" that was causing it to stick out an additional 1/2in. I put the screw through the outside (closest to the tire) of the fender "flare" and it increased the clearance by about 1/2in. I haven't taken it wheeling yet but I'll be surprised if I don't rub off road.

If you stick with factory wheels you should be ok with some trimming. On my truck and rims, I highly doubt I could fit 35x12.50s without substantial trimming. Just my .02...

Are you using the OEM 20's? The problem with the OEM 20's is that they have 6.5 inches of backspacing. This puts the edge of the tire really, really close to the upper control arm/ball joint. So close that some 12.50 inch wide tires with aggressive sidewall's will actually touch the upper ball joint. If the Grapplers don't rub here, you will be fine.

Will work like a dream. Just might have to trim a little on the bottom of the front half of the front fender.
