Back Spacing & M/T 16x8
I'm considering some M/T 16x8 Classic II rims where the Back Space is 3 3/4 and want to wrap them with a set of Mickey Thompson BAJA MTZ "LT285/75R16". How much further will this setup stick out then the stock 16" rims? This will be mounted on a '03 screw.
Also is anyone running this set up?
I've posted before where I was considering the same brand tire, but with a 17X9 rim and 33x12.5 R17 tires and the ones who have posted have sent some great pics! I'm still debating which route to go, but would like to compare them.
Thanks for any help.

Great. How much farther would a 16x10 inch wheel with 4.5" of back space stick out than the OEM 16x7 wheel?

Did you just crank up your torsion bars? How long did you run it like that before you went to the BL and 35's? Last one, what size gear do you have. I only have a 3.55 and am wondering if that will be enough if I go up to 33's

I keep debating between 16x8 & 16x10.

I didn't notice a difference in power when I went to 33's from the OEM 30 inch tall tires, but that may have been because I only drove the truck a couple times with the stock tires. I did notice a difference when I installed the 35's. It's not terrible but it's definately not a powerhouse.
As for wheels, I'd go with 16x10's if you have a 4x4.
