General Grabber AT/2 ????
anyone running these? Time to replace my stock generals and was gonna go with destination AT's or duehler AT's. Wasn't even going to consider generals, but the guy at the tire store was telling how these are every bit as good as the other two tire's i was looking at, if not a little better. i know salesman talking, but he stocks all 3 tires so he wasn't bashing the other two. Any feedback appreciated. Oh, gonna go from my stock 255/70/17 to 265/70/17

The Generals are an ok tire and a lot of guys run them, but if I had my choice I would do the Firestone Destination AT's or the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2's. Both the Firestone and Bridgestone will give you much better wet traction, better snow traction and a quieter ride on the road.

I had the AT2's on my Grand Cherokee and loved them. Same tread pattern as the BF's, 60k mile treadwear warranty, and you can stud them... All for a lot cheaper. I sold my GC with about 20k on the tires and they looked new still. Held up through the nasty North Dakota winters great. Quiet on the road, and great off road. Don't expect too much in the mud (like just about any AT) but in everything else, they were amazing.
