I am getting ready to pull the trigger on getting a set of 305/55/R20 (33 in.) Cooper Zeon LTZs and putting them on 20x9 Black Fuel Hostages and i wanted to get a final assurance that i wont have any fitting/rubbing issues.

i have a 2wd '08 thats leveled 2.5".
what offset should i get to have it stick out a little, but nothing major, and am i safe from rubbing?

If you go with a wheel with 5 inches of backspacing or more you should be fine. You may have to do some minor trimming.
