20's for 18's

Anybody know of any reason why I could not go from 20's to 18's on a 2009 Platinum?

Yes, it seemed like it should work fine...I would like to run 305/65R18 and making sure it would work. I'm going with Ultra Preadator 6's and wanted thoughts before I dropped the money.

I have a 2010 and run a 305/65/18. I had 20's on it as well.

No reason you cannot swap 18's for the stock 20's. With your '09, you also got the benefit of the extra leaf spring with the 20" tires. Your rear suspension is the same as a '10 with the heavy duty package (even though your GVWR is still shown as 7200 on the sticker). Ford did not do this on the '10, not sure about the '11.

Hammer 40,

Your setup look great! any rubbing? I was looking at wheels that had 35mm offset.
