wheel tire combo on 2010 F150

Hey all I am new to the site. I have a 2010 F150 stx 4x4 extended cab flame blue. i have 2.5 front level kit. I am going to put wheels and tires on it, and eventually a 4 in suspension lift when i get the rest of the chedder together. what do you think. 33x12.5 in tires with 18in diamo wheels 4.5 back spacing -12mm offset. probally going with a medium aggressive mud tire.

Have u seen that f150 commercial ( I'm from Ohio ) with the firefighter and his truck ? Well after I bought my new rig Ford had me do a commercial lol . But yeah I just have to 2 valve 4.6 v8 and I keep hearing 35s rough on the tranny and gearing . I'm getting my lift eventually but just rims and tires for now

35" tires would look best with both a level and a 4" lift. And I think the tranny will be fine with it, but then again I have a 5.4. Hopefully a few people with 4.6's with post up here too.

With the setup of wheels you are talking about, you will rub pretty good with just a leveling kit if you put a 35" tire on that wheel. Other then that everything else will look pretty sharp. I had pretty much the same size tire and 20x9 wheels with -12 offset on my last truck with a 3" leveling kit and rubbed at full lock. Nothing major, a little plastic trimming. You throw a 35 on there without the lift and i think there is a decent amount of trim work needed. There are some threads with guys that have done it floating around somewhere. Stick with the 33 if you dont plan to lift very soon. And of course you picked a great color, i just got one also!

thanks im going with a kelly str 315 70r 17 m/t. diamo wheels polished with black in them. the tires are almost close to a 34 x 12.5 i wanna do 4.5 back spacing and -12 mm offset. and in the summer i wanna go with the rancho 4 inch suspension. but man this stuff gets expensive!

A 315/70-17 is basically a 35x12.50 tire. The only way to fit those with a leveling kit is to use the OEM wheels or an 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing.

i hear ya on the money....i see this a lot here. "gotta pay to play!" haha so true.
i started doing the leveling kit thing, now i have a 6" in the garage waiting for a good time to put it on, then you have bigger tires to buy and blah blah blah gears.....tint exhaust..etc.
Have fun going broke!!!!!!
