Roaring noise in front end

Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the fix? My 05 f150 has a roaring noise in the front end when driving down the highway. The faster I go the louder it gets and the further I turn the wheel to the left the louder it gets. I can feel a slight vibration in the steering wheel also. The weird thing is when I turn the wheel to the right no matter how slight the noise and vibration go away. I thought it was my tires, but I just put new tires on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I like working on my own vehicles so I don't want to have to take it to a dealer or mechanic if it is something I can do.
