you can put them on your stock 20's but your not going to be able to run them without some type of lift

yeah i was planning on it. i was thinking to add either a 2 1/2" or 3" leveling kit and probably upsize the rear block. or would a 2 1/2" do the job without changing the rear block?

a 2 1/2" spacer would do the job with some minor valence trimming (just plastic) the rear block is up to you I went with a 2 1/2" AS (autospring) with the 3" rear block but I like a little rake plus it's better for towing or hauling,,so the rear would be your call,,good luck buddy!! also I put 1/4" spacers in to get away from the upper A-arm,, so I dont rub at all......

Right, this is normally a problem with aggressive mud tires and the OEM wheels.

another question that came to mind. if i were to add a 3" leveling kit to the front, and change rear blocks to 3", would my truck be level or have any rake at all?

It depends on the tire. Some 12.50 widht tires need a thin wheel spacer, some don't. You will have to just test the Coopers to see. It's that close.

I just installed a 3" A/S in the front of mine with a 3" block in the back. My truck is a 4x4 so it sits 1" higher in the front than a 2wd does stock. If you want to clear 35's than I suggest you switch to 4x4 front shocks and add a leveling kit and a 3" rear block. Your stock wheels are 8.5" wide so a 35x12.50 will fit on them just fine.

I might get some pics up tommorrow, after install, I discovered I had a bad tie rod end (with only 31,800 miles on the truck) so I had to replace that then go get the alignment. It's all done now, just waiting on my tires to come in. Had to order them cause nobody stocks a 35x12.50x20 around cleveland.

well id rather the rear end sit slightly higher than the front, but not nearly as much as it is now.. So if i put a 3" level kit on the front and 3" blocks on the back, then i should still have a relatively small rake? right?

If you do a 3-3 then your truck will sit just like it does now just 3" higher. If you want to remove some or all of the rake then you need to put more in the front than the back. There are 3 sizes of rear blocks, A/S has a 1 1/2" and a 3" and the factory ford blocks are 2" (actually 1 7/8") the front leveling kits come in four sizes, 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3"

I would suggest a factory rear block and a 2 1/2" A/S in the front. That will remove some rake and get you the height needed for some bigger tires.

I understand I don't know a whole lot about trucks and lift kits etc. But I don't get how it will sit the same. If I replace the 1 7/8 rear blocks with 3", then go with a 3" leveling kit up front, how/why would I have a huge rake like I do now? It's not like I'm adding the 3" blocks on top of the 1 7/8". So id only be raising the back 1 1/8"? Am I correct? If not, please elaborate.

Is your truck 2wd or 4x4? From the looks of it its a 2wd. 2wd's do not have rear blocks only 4x4's do. The rear springs of a 2wd sits directly on the axle so any block you add wil give a 1 to 1 lift in terms of inches. So if you put a 3-3 lift on a 2wd you get 3" rear and 3" front. Now when you add a bigger block to the rear of a 4x4 you only gain the difference of the two blocks in the rear.

Ooh I did not kno this about 2wd not having rear blocks. I was just trying to prevent my front end from sitting higher than the rear. I can deal with a slight rake. I see many people on here just add a 2 1/2 level kit on front and it sits higher than the rear. I don't wanna get into changing shocks. I just want a few inches higher so I can add bigger tires
