With a 9inch rim wouldnt 4.5 backspacing be equal to a 0 offset? Logically it makes sense but am I right or is this rim specific?

Your first choice of 18x9 with 35 offset has a backspace of 6.4", with a 12.5" wide tire or any mud tire it will rub on the inside of the tire, if you can even mount them.

The 18x9 with +18 has a backspace of 5.7", will probably work with most tires except those with large mud lugs on the sidewalls, they will hit your A arms.

The 18x9 with -12 has a backspace of 4.5", they will stick out 2.5" past stock wheels and depending on the tire, without a lift will rub the outside of the wheel well.

With the 04 - 08 models it usually worked and I assume the 09 would be the same but not for sure.

Looks good. I'm not usually a big fan of black wheels but it goes well with your setup.
