Wierd smell/pull

I was driving into work early this morning and felt my 04 fx4 pull to the right. I checked to make sure my tire was not going flat, but it is at normal press. Shortly after that, I started noticing a wierd smell. It kind of smells like battery acid. Everything else on the truck is checking good. No vibrations, sounds or anything abnormal other than the pull/smell. The truck pulls at all speeds with and without the brakes being applied. Could this be my brakes hanging up?

Quite possibly it is brakes hanging. Does the steering wheel turn when it pulls. If so it is the front. If not it is rear or e-brake.

Yeah...I pretty much narrowed it down to the right front. Just never smelled that smell before, and am surprised there is no noise coming from it.

There was TSB's about the front brakes hanging up. If you never had that done, you might want to think about it, however as you are off warranty, it would be your dime. TSB had new parts for calipers and rotors.
