ok, and they also have 20x9 with a -12mm offset, does that mean the rim and tire will stay tucked under my fender like the stock rims??

No, the negative offset will push the tire further out from the fender (relative to where the stock offset is at). So a positive offset will tuck the tire further under the fender.

Look at my 2008 XLT that I posted on previous pasge as it had a -11mm offset and the tires stuck out past the fender. Also, look at my 2008 FX4 below and you see can how much the -12mm offset wheels stick out:

Here's a simple chart to show the differences. Notice the offsets (negative or positive) of the inside surface of the wheel flange relative to the wheel's centerline :

Hope that helps.

Desert Dawg - trucks looks awesome. How far approx. do the wheels stick out? and how much would 0 offset bring it back in. Im looking to do 20 x 9 wheels on my truck with no level or lift. Want to get the right size. I like how the wheels stick out but are you getting alot of chips in the paint from rocks?

Tires stuck out a little over 2 inches. Going to 0-mm offset should bring the tires back in about 1/2 inch. If you go with a zero or positive offset, make sure your backspacing is still good as the wider tires might touch some of the assembly.

The big BGF KM2 mudders do tend to throw rocks occassionally, but did not get any chipping in the paint. Someone else may have had different experience but I never had a problem.

I was looking to go with ballistic jesters (chrome) 20 x 9 with Nitto ATs 305/55/20. would you recommend 0 or +12 offset. I dont know what the BS is on both. I know it is 4.5 for -12 BS. I might want to add bushwackers as well but dont want them to overhang the wheels.

I'm running 305's on a 9" wheel with a +12 offset. I just noticed after washing the truck tonight that I've got some serious chips and gouges to touch up from about 15 miles on gravel two weeks ago.

I don't know that I'll be making that trip again unless I have the stock wheels back on for the winter.

A 0 offset would make them stick out even further.

305/60/18. 305's are all the same width regardless of what overall diameter tire they are and rim diameter they are mounted on.

Actually, the tire section width varies approximately 0.2" for every 1/2-inch change in rim width so you will see a notable difference say between an 8.5-inch wide wheel and 10-inch wide wheel. Sorry to hear about the rock chips Quackstackr but that is a good looking set up you have!

They are 32.5 x 12.5 x 18 and the truck has a 2" AS kit on it (2.5" measured after install)

My speedo is accurate but I have a tuner to change tire size, too.
