Question will -12 offset work with 6" lift?

Hello all, i have new 2010 f150 xlt and i want to put on 6" rough country suspension lift (due to cost) and I want to put 35x12.5 tires either toyo open country or nitto trail grapplers. the issue that im running into is that roungh country's website says that i have to use a 8 inch wide wheel but i cant find any 8" ones that i like. but i have found 9" wide wheels with -12 offset and i am wondering if that would work with the 6" lift without any rubbing or trimming?? thanks a lot guys!

id say they mean run at least an 8 inch wide wheel. Most with the lifts are doing negative offset wheels at least 9 " wide. May touch some plastic a little bit, but nothing serious

Repends on what backspacing is needed. You can run a 10" rim if you have they same bs as the 8" rim. My skyjacker kit requires a 4.5 bs. I bought a 9 inch rim with -12 offset (4.5 bs). It will work fine. Just will push rim out a little futher than 8 inch rim with say offset, 1" to be exact.

I went with -12mm offset on a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing with a 4-inch lift and had no problems.

I've got 20x10 Diamo 17K with a -12mm offset and 35/12.50/20 Trail Grapplers. I had to do some trimming to keep them from rubbing and they do stick out quite a bit but I love the stance.

Thanks. Your truck looks good as well.

By the way..... are you sure the wheels you have are 20x10? When I was looking for wheels the Crushers were one of the wheels that I liked but I ruled them out because they couldn't be ordered in a 20x10. I'm assuming your wheels are actually 20x9 and that's why you didn't have to trim anything.
