torque spec

can anyone tell me what the torque specs are for the lug nuts on a 1998 f150........one of the studa broke off on me and i just want to make sure i dont oveertighten them again...thanks

You overtightened them that much? Either lay off the juice or put the impact gun down.

My 1999 expedition is 100 ft-lbs, probably the same with your F150. I am at work, but I have a chart at home that has every car from the 70's until now and its lug nut torque. If no one answers otherwise, I will get back to you tonight.

The torques spec for the 98 is 100 ftlbs. It is even stamped onto the lug nuts if you look carefully.

should be 90 or 100. I used to work at discount tire

i guess ill have to lay off the juice...ha ha....i was using a lug wrench....thanks guys i appreciate the advise
