34.4x12.4/17 Is your truck 2x4 or 4x4. Some people tun this wide of a tire on a stock 7.5-8.5 stock rim but its not recommended. Tire will have very odd wear: cupping. Really should go with a tire more than 4" wider than your rim

You won't be able to run 315/70R17's on the Moto Metal 951's without some major rubbing and trimming. The 17" 951's are only available in 4.5 BS/-12mm offset so they would stick out past your fenders about 2". You need to look for a wheel with a BS and offset closer to the stock specs to avoid fitment issues. For example: XD Spy 17x8 +18 offset/5.21 BS - you could run 315/70R17's on those with no rubbing.

There are some guys on here who run 315/70R17 on stock wheels but I've heard of rubbing issues on the upper control arm, but some 1/4" spacers would fix that issue.

Right. As a general rule with a leveling kit on a 4x4 you can fit 35x12.50's using the stock wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels.

on early model '04s 17s will not clear the brakes. Ford fixed/changed that in late model '04s and on
