I am looking into installing some new brake rotors on my 01 f150 but i dont know which brands are the best and wether or not the cheap ones on ebay are any good. i just swapped a lightning motor into my truck and had a 4.2 so i def want something to stop the truck faster. i was thinking slotted rotors but i want thoughts on the cheapest best brand there are or are they just all the same.

 

I got www.brakeperformance.com slotted and dimpled up front and just got slotted in the rear after being happy with the fronts. Don't get their pads though they aren't the greatest IMO

 

i just ordered slotted for the front from brake performance. still waiting to get them. then in a few weeks, gonna do slotted in the back. for pads, i got akebonoULTRA premium pads. cant wait to get em on.

 

ok cool this helps out a lot. are those akebonoULTRA pads any good

 

Wagner rotors and Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. Decent price and can be bought at any local parts store.

I haven't got them on yet but from the reviews i read they weren't that bad.
