Yes, because they could back off and your wheels come off! Some aluminum wheels are worse than others and take a while to "take a seat". I'd check them every 25 miles untill I was sure they were not loosening.
Not necessarily. I usually check them about 60 miles after I torque them and then 60 miles after that. I've found on occasion they have backed off after the first 60 but haven't had an issue when checking the second time.
I used a torque wrench and carried it with me for about a week. I checked the torque regularly untill I didn't find any that had loosened. Some wheels are worse than others. A set of Eagle Alloy 058's was the worst I ever had.
Well don't have a t-wrentch that goes that high I just checked them
A few were not as snug as others but none really loose just snugged them all up will check again in a few weeks
