Blacking out the rest of the wheel

Im planning on getting the Black rhino Ocotillos.

But I think they would look better if the centercap was blacked out like this . Although this picture shows them as full black Im pretty sure they arent sold like that anywhere. Could I paint over the black and maybe even make it a black chrome look? what do you guys think?

I agree that the black center cap looks better. I would call wherever u are getting them if online and see if they have them in black. If u are getting new lug nuts as well I recommend getting black. I did and they were the same price just had to ask. U could always sand, primer and paint if they don't offer them in black.

U can search the how to section where people have painted chrome sidesteps, badges, wheels and bumpers. I believe they recommend krylon and its just spray paint. I did my sidesteps a couple weekends ago but haven't yet posted pics. They turned out pretty decent. Not a pro by any means. I would read those write UPS and go from there. This is all if for sure they don't make it in black. Powdercoating is another option if they are metal and not plastic if u have one in your area.

You can sand down the chrome and apply a few light coats of self etching primer and then 4 to 5 light coats of Rustoleum matte black wheel paint.. They sell it at AutoZone.. IMO the best black wheel paint available in rattle can.

Im pretty set on these wheels because they are pretty inexpensive, fit my truck, have the offset I want, and the look I want. And are available at discount tire so I dont have to pay for shipping. I think they would look good on my truck with 35" terain grapplers and a 6" lift. dont yall?
