Needing some advise on brakes please...
I have some Akbono ceramic breaks on the front of my truck. I installed those about 4 years ago.
I am getting close to needing some new brake pads.
What do you guys recommend for good low dust brakes?
Akbono
Wagner Thermo's?
Carquest blue's?
What do you guys says? Thank you.

I researched quite a bit on the site and ultimately went with the Wagner TQ's (as many other members have)...Is there still some brakedust? Yes. But I am very pleased with them over the stockers and the brake dust isn't anything close to what the stockers produced. While you're changing the pads, you might want to check out DarrenWS6's "technical article" on painting up the rotors, it's a nice touch and you have the truck half torn apart at that point anyway, just my opinion. Here's how mine turned out:

Either Wagner or Carquest Blue. Too many people have Wagner's and not once heard a bad thing. I've had the Carquest in both semi-metallic and ceramic. Ceramics seemed a bit harsh for daily drivers on the rotors. Couldn't get a full duration out of them due to calipers crapping out recently. I did go with AC Delco pads not long ago, so far I like them about the same as the Carquest. None of the above have ever shown excessive dust, in fact, normal driving you'd barely see any at all even after weeks of no washes.
