18" KMC Monsters

I took my 06 f150 xlt to 4wheelparts to get a 6" lift and 35's put on. The wheels im using are 18" KMC Monsters. I gave the guy from 4wheelparts the hub centering rings that the wheels came with and he told me those wheels dont need them. I have seen on here about bad vibrations with out them. Does this guy just not know what he is talking about or do i really not need the rings?

Thanks in advance

You need to use the rings. You've heard correct, without them they can cause pretty bad vibrations. Mine came with a set of green and black rings. You need to use the green ones.

You need them. Green are for fords and black are for chevys. The are with the rims for a reason. Just have them put them on. Maybe nothing will happen but the can begin to vibrate very bad without them

When I bought my monsters the online dealer sent me the wrong rings, twice. I ran them for over a month with no rings with zero issues. I don't know if it had to do with good tire balancing, good alignment or just good luck. I now have the rings and it rides the same as it did without them. Just sayin'

Well the guy from 4wheelparts didnt put the hub centric rings on but after 50 miles or so i havent noticed any vibrations at any speeds. Im going to keep them handy just in case.
