i was quoted for 350-400 bucks for my ram 1500 but i also have a 2wd! Is your truck 2wd or 4x4, i would also say check around your local tranny shops, ive heard some say they pay 700 for gears lol But to be honest u dont need them i was just saying if u wanna run 26's or 28's then i would change em out just to get that stock acceleration back. with 4:10-4:56s u would be able to spin those 24s with ease bro lol

I think ima go with the 24s for the rims, but I'm still not sure what size tire. Is there any acceleration lost with 24s?

alittle acceleration lost, u gotta figure 24s with tires are prob 80lbs a piece so by 4 that's 320lbs. It wont be to bad, like i said im running 37s on stock gears and im doin just fine lol
The 305/35/24 run about 350 a piece and the 315/50/24 run about 550 a piece! SO it all depends on how high u wanna lift ya truck

Yeah i figured as much. I'm getting an Edge programmer anyway so a performance tune should more than make up for the loss in accel.
