35's on stock wheels

i know this topic is beaten to death alot but most inquiries seem to be from guys with 2wd f150's and not so many 4x4's. primarily, for the sake of not dropping insane amounts of cash right now im thinking i might just paint my stock wheels black and get some 35" toyo m/t's. i love the look of those. then ill get my 4 or 6" lift later down the line. then invest in some aftermarket wheels last.

but i just put on my AS 2" front level kit and replaced the stock 1 5/8 inch rear block with a 3" block on my 2010 stx 4x4. im really not concerned about the back obviously but would the 35x12.50r18 work on the stock wheels with this setup for the time being? thanks guys.

Wont work as I understand it. My 35's rubbed with a 6" kit. 33's are the largest you can run on a 2x4 without a 6" lift. the 4x4 guys can do it but we cant.

Yes... And rrozell, I did 35's on my 2wd with just a level.. Its all in what the specs on your wheel is. STXXX, they will fit on the stock 18's with minor trimming.

There are hundreds of members here with 04-11 4x4's running 35x12.50's by using their OEM wheels and a leveling kit.

STXXXSTAR13-Mad bad man just miss read

brazzeal15- You are correct about the rim specs making the differnce between fitting and not fitting. IMO if you had to cut that means they dont fit. Even with my 6" kit I had rubbing so I added a 1" spacer to resolve the problem. My rubbing issues were bs/offset related though. Your 35's must be a snug fit. Got any pics to post
