Sold my wheels and tires....

along with my Screw. (just trying to make this fit in the tire/wheel forum since this is where I spend most of my time) I hated to see it go, but my wife and daughter talked me into selling my truck for a smaller vehicle that my daughter could take over in a few years. What did she want? A Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So anyway, I sold my truck to a fellow officer on Thursday and started pricing Jeeps. This afternoon I wound up buying a 4 door Wrangler Sport (white of course). I got a good deal and part of it, the dealership is gonna install a 2 inch lift (similar to 04-11 F-150 leveling kits) and buy the OEM 32 inch tires so I can install some 33's. I'm still gonna hang around here as I still have the Expy. Also the wife has promised I can get a new truck when the Jeep is paid for.

No way! Didn't think we'd ever see the Wandell White Screw leave us! I just sold my 02 to a fellow member about a month ago. Tough to see them go, especially when you know how much, blood, sweat, tears (and money of course) you've put into it. How do you like the Jeep?

on to the jeep, that's really cool they're helping out to set you up with some goodies right off.

I know what you mean, I really loved that truck. I've heard of buyer's remorse but I think I have seller's remorse! What can I say, the girls ganged up on me. Oh well, I like the Jeep and it's our second one (used to own a 94 Grand Cherokee with a 2 inch lift and 30 inch BFG's). It will be a neat project, but I'm keeping it simple.

Are you making your daughter pay for it? I wish my parents bought me a car....

Didn't want to wait till next year when they lose the minivan sourced 3.8l? Hopefully u got a good deal on that. Should look awesome with the small lift and bigger tires. Well make sure u stick around here. Your information and knowledge is priceless.

Dang Wandell! I can't believe you parted with your truck. I bet it was a tough decision for sure. Glad to hear you'll still be sticking around. Congrats on the new jeep.

Getting rid of a truck that you had for awhile is like losing a body part but at least it's not the end of the world! Expedition's qualify as Ford truck's and we need your expertise on here for wheel and tire advice. Nice looking Jeep by the way too!
