Brake pedal rough when pressed

lol<I didint know what to put the title as,kind of hard to explain the prob.
Here goes.....When i press the brake pedal to stop it doesnt go down smooth its like its grabbing on something,and there is a louder then normal squishy
sound up by the booster I guess.Brakes are worn but not that bad.Its an 06 with 47k on it.
Hope you can understand what im trying to tell,lol

have you bled the lines? maybe bleed the master cylinder. also have you checked to make sure you arent leaking brake fluid somewhere? and see if the vacuum line is hooked up to the booster and doesnt have any holes/cracks in it

thanks,no leaks anywhere,havnt done anything to the lines,I did mash around on the vacuum line,didint seem to have any cracks.It does idle way down sometimes when i stop,but only when AC is on so i figured AC caused that issue,the brake issue just started a couple weeks ago

you may try bleeding the lines out, then if it still does it it may need the master cylinder bled
