anyone put 305mm tires on stock 7.5" wheels

I am thinking of putting 305/65/18's bfg AT's on my 2011 stock 7.5" wide lariat wheels, but they may be a bit wide. Does anyone have pic's of these or done this, would like to see what they look like ?
thanks

I would not . I have used up two sets of 305/50/20 on 8 1/2 wheels and when they have been on for awhile, they began to cup. At about 2/3 of their expected life.

That tire is waaaaaaaaaay to wide for that wheel in both looks and performance departments!! Just say no.

They will fit and I think they will look ok too, but that is a little wide for that wheel and may wear prematurely. Many people run 12 - 12.5 inch wide tires on OEM wheels, but ideally I would look in the 285 to maybe 295 range.

I agree. A lot of people have run 305's but it is a little too wide for the OEM 7.5 inch wheel. If you are gonna keep the stock wheels, a 285mm wide tire would be a much better choice.

I have 305 65 r18's on the oem fx4 rims. I have 40,000 miles on them now and will probably get another 10k out of them, but I have kept them rotated religiously every 5,000 and they are starting to get louder and wear a little unevenly the last 10,000 miles.
