Wheel that will work while leveled, then lifted

Hey guys,

I've been looking at lifting my 2005 4WD F150 in the next year or so. I've been looking at wheel tire/combos, and thought I would consult ya'll before doing anything.

Right now I've got a 2'' level with 295/70R18 Trail Grapplers on stock 18X7.5 rims. I've got a very slight rub at full lock on the control arm. I've been looking at wheels with around 5'' of backspace to get in conjunction with the lift. I've finally settled on 18X9 Eagle Alloy 186's with a +2 offset (just slightly above 5.0'' of backspace). I think these wheels would be golden right now, and probably fix my rub issue.

However, do you think I would be okay running a 315/70R18 Toyo MT (36X13.00R18) with the 6'' fabtech on this wheel?

Possibly even more important, if I decide to throw my 2'' spacer ontop of the fabtech lift and run 37X12.50R18 or 37X13.50R18, is the backspace too shallow on this wheel? THANKS!

A 9 inch wheel with 5 inches of BS is just about perfect in my opinion. I think they would work with the lift and all of the tire combinations you mentioned. My concern would be right now with the 295/70-18's. You may have to do some trimming now, but I think they will work.
