caliper upgrade?
Front caliper piston is cracked ('07 XLT). I'd like to upgrade the components, but not to the tune of $1000+.
Are there any companies that make a moderate upgrade kit - a little better than OEM, but not at the price of Baer, Wilwood ?

If you're going to upgrade pistons/caliper, I think you're gonna end up spending $$$, even the SSBC caliper kit is $1,500+. If you're talking just rotors, that's not too bad.
I upgraded mine with PowerSlot rotors and Hawk pads, been very pleased the past 20k+ miles. Still a fair amount of brake dust though, might try the carquest blues next time.
