Need some advice

I've been researching tires and wheels for a little over a month now.I have a 2006 XLT Supercrew 4x4 and I'm going to purchase a HBS 2.5" leveling kit and leaning towards 295/70/18 nitto terra or trail grapplers with 18x9 fuel gauge or hostages. What I have a hard time with is determining what offset I would need to avoid any rubbing. I will take into consideration everyone's thoughts and they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Since u are going with that large of a tire, u will want a fairly high bs, around 6 with a positive offset. As close to stock specs as possible. What are the options for those rims? U do not want 4.5 bs, or they will rub bad.

I think the fuel hostages have 5" BS? That should be good with possibly cutting off the very bottom corners of the plastic strip on the bottom of the front bumper. Don't get less then 5" BS though. That's a good sized tire for a leveled truck

Fuel gauge comes in -12, 01, 14, or 20. Fuel hostages come in 01, 14 or 20. Should i just play it safe and get the 275/70/18? I would like to avoid any rubbing

I've decided to go with the 275/70/18 terra grapplers. I'd still appreciate thoughts on the offset and it would be greatly appreciated if someone posted some pictures if they have this setup. Thanks

That's what I'd like but going to school this fall and driving 30-40 mins each way I figured a lighter tire would do until I'm done there
