I am running Kumho Road Venture A/T's 285/70R17's. Currently have about 40k on them. Would not recommend them unless money is tight. Tires have worn well but, I have not been very pleased with their proformance. Made it through 20" of snow with them last winter but I have had to plug and patch these more than any others I have ever owned.

I am planning on going to a Nitto or similar before this winter.

The BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, Pro Comp Xtreme AT, **** Cepek FCII and Mickey Thompson ATZ would be the best choices.

Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor, had these for 5yrs now, love em! Snow= no problem, rain too. I would imagine they do pretty good in mud, but I care about hwy miles, and snow performance. I have 75k km's and still have a ways to go.

BFG's are good if you off road around sharp rocks because they have 3 ply sidewalls. The Nitto TG's are good and a little quieter. Nokian Vativa is a great all around snow, off-road highway tire but they are softer and wear faster.

Every truck I've ever owned I upgraded to BFG AT KO's. Excellent tires.

Firestone destination A/T resonable on price and just as good as bfgs, bfgs are way over priced and don't perform that well.

Ran those on my first King Ranch.... I wouldn't recommend them either.... Very crappy in the rain and snow.... The left rear blew when my wife was driving it and totaled out the truck...

have the same tires on my 06 and i LOVE them.

snow, ice and mud they are REALLY good.

wear slow and are pretty quiet.

they just dont look "rad" like the ko's but they are a WAY better tire then them.

Firestone Destination AT, or Dayton Timberline AT..same tire/same tread, made in the same place. The tire is great off-road and on-road and lasts great. I'll get 50,000+ out of the Daytons. The bfg is a good tire, my biggest gripe with them was that they pick up and hold gravel really bad. Good luck with your choice.

The best A/T tire I have ever had was the Yokohama Geolandar ATS. I put on a new set and put 40,000 miles on them and still had better than 1/2 tread. Quiet on the highway and pulled me through an 18" snowfall last winter without slipping a wheel. It is what I will get again when the OE tires are worn out on the F150. I highly recommend them if you can find the size you need/want.

i was supprised with the proformance of my duratracs in the rain! they look realllly knobby but they work wonders in the rain. on the other hand mud is my new enemy....u dont slide or dig in...no fun just go...ive heard only good things about bfg A/T so i would go with them

While not a true "all-terrain" tire, I have the Cooper Zeon LTZs and am very happy with their performance thus far. They are sort of a hybrid but with a very aggressive tread design and quiet ride.
