22x9 and you need at least a +42 offset. I have 22x9 with +42 offset and 305/40/22 tires and I am gonna have to roll the fenders in the rear to be able to tuck due to the wide tire. a 295 would clear fine i bet and i know a 275 tucks with room to spare because that what i had on my factory 20s but they were also 20x8.5

Ok...I found the rim/tire calculator in this forum but how the hell do you use it??....I DO NOT WANT my tires sticking out past my truck fenders. I made this mistake on my 2004 and dont want to do it again...Do I need to do any measuring on my truck or does this do it for me...Sorry if this is question has been asked before...I just dont want to spend 2K on some rims/tires and not have the end result I want..Thanx for any help

basically the less offset the more the rim will stick out(aka more "lip") and the center will be further in the rim of the wheel
