Question 275/65/R20 BFG all terrains problems

I have had 275/65/20 bfg all terrains on my F150 for just over a year and a half with about 20,000 miles on them and my back tires are already practically bald but only directly in the middle of the tire and the side lugs are still in good shape.... The front tires look like new yet. I do have a level kit on my truck and my front end does sit a little higher than my back, not sure if that has any impact?? My tire pressure is at 65 lbs and the tires are rated up to 80 lbs so i don't think thats my issue. I don't drive like an idiot and are confused why these tires didn't last me very long???

Thats becasue they are over inflated. That is the wear pattern you are getting. I have the same tires but in 275/70/18 and called the company and told them what tire i had before and what the data plate recomended. He did the calculation and said to put it at 50psi. I have had it like that for 20,000 miles and the tired still look almost brand new with even tire wear. I rotate them ever oil change @3000 miles.

Here is the # call them and tell them what tire and size you had before and the info off your data plate for recomened tire pressue and they will calculate it for you.

Yep overinflated. Should have been around 50. 65 would have been about right for an F250/350.

Keep in mind the pressure on the sidewall is the maximum, not necessarily the optimum. Load ratings are typically taken at sidewall rated pressure, but the optimum for your vehicle is typically much lower.
