35x12.50R18 What are my options?

The time has come to replace my BF Goodrich KM2's. I'd like to move over to a BFG AT, but they don't make it in a 35 for the 18" rim. Any suggestions on something that will last just as long, ride just as smooth, and maybe be a little cheaper than the KM2?

The BFG a/t comes in 325/65/18, which is right under a 35 (~34.4" tall). Some other good, long lasting tires are the Toyo m/ts, nitto trail grapplers, and the nitto terra grapplers.

I think the 325/65r18 tires will be too wide for my stock rim.

The 325/65s are about 12.79" wide, so they are only .3" wider than the 12.50s. I didn't realize you were running stock wheels, so even the 35x12.50s are pushing it as far as width.

I would go Toyo MTs. I had a set on my old truck and they wore very good on the road. I sold the truck when they had just under 30,000 miles on them. They would have lasted another 15,000 miles or so had i not sold the truck

I have 43,000 miles on my BFG KM2 tires now. I was really hoping to get 60k, but that isn't happening. It looks like I could maybe go another 5,000-7,000 if I want to look like I'm driving the General Lee on The Dukes of Hazzard...little bit of steering wheel vibration on the interstate.

I saw that the Nitto Terra Grapplers come in a 295/70R18. They would be almost an inch shorter and about an inch smaller in width. I know they'll fit b/c they are smaller, but will my wheel wells look vacant with the extra gap?

I've been pretty happy with my ProComp Xtreme AT's...they're the most aggressive AT I've seen and I think they're on sale at 4WheelParts right now. They also come with a 40k tread warranty.

I have pictures of those 295/70/18's in my profile. The truck has a 2.5" level and 3" blocks
