New tires for 07 F150 KR SuperCrew
Currently running the stock Pirelli Scorpion ATRs. Have gotten a solid 50K on them but it's time for a new set. I want something more aggressive.
I honestly haven't been to this site in a couple years since buying my KR but just reading the past couple days has me a little exhilarated to put something more aggressive on my truck.
Current Size: P275/55R20
Can i go any bigger on my stock setup or do i really need a leveling kit if I want to go bigger?
If I stay stock i was going to lean towards the BFG Rugged Terrain T/A as they look aggressive but still have good highway tread. Since moving early this year my daily work commute is around 50-60 miles round trip all highway. I don't think I need to move all the way to BFG AT KOs quite yet.
If i put a leveling kit on what size tire options do I open up, staying with the stock 20" KR wheels of course.
Thanks!

if you have a 4x4 you can run around 33" tires with no level on stock wheels. with a level on a 4x4 you can fit up to 35". you would likely need a level to go any bigger with
4x2.
as far as tires go, look at bfg ats, nitto terra grapplers, cooper zeons. all of these have good road manners, and good tread life. you should be able to get at least 50k out of them.

^ This. Don't go over 12.5". My 285/65/20 BFG ATs are about 34.7"x11.7" on my stock fx4 wheels.

i guess that depends on ur definition of quality. The "p" rated will be a bit softer and provide more flex with especially with a taller sidewall than what you were used to. the "LT" are stiffer and will feel more firm in the corners and support a load and towing easier. i went taller and stayed with a "P" rated and regret it. on corners it feels a like it floats around granted i have a 17" rim so maybe its more pronounced vs a 20" with less side wall.
