Question Tpm sensor 2011 question?!

I currently own a 2011 f150 xlt supercrew cab

i am going to be installing a set of 17" steel f150 wheels and snow tires and had a few questions about the tpm sensors.

I have found some sensors on ebay that are used. Will those work in my wheels?

Also, i read about some sort of programming tool i have to buy? Is this true or will i just be able to buy the sensors and install them without throwing a light on the dash?

Thanks!

I don't have a part number myself, but you might just ask at the dealer so you can get the correct part number. Also don't forget the valve stems. They are special ones that have the sensors mounted to them.
