4" lift, wheel and tire question
I'm buying a 2007 F150 since my 2002 was destroyed by a drunk driver in front of my house. My 2002 has a 3" body lift with 315/75/16s and I thought the lift was too low and tires too big. I'm married now with a young son so I have to settle down a bit with truck mods but I'd like to do a 4" lift and keep the stock 20 inch rims. If I got some high quality 2" spacers and installed them right would they look okay? Also, I want a smaller tire than the 315s but I don't want them too small so any suggestions on size? I'd like to have the tires as small as possible to help with power and gas but not so they look stupid. I'd also like to keep the stock rims. Let me have it guys?
Thanks

Rancho makes a good 4" lift that allows you to use stock wheels, so I would go with that lift. The spacers would look good, but I would go with a smaller spacer to be safer. If you do any wheeling, wheel spacers will be a weak point on the truck. With a 4" lift, you can put on 33x12.50s and that is about as small as you could go and still look good.

You can fit 35's with a 2.5" level with the right backspacing. I rubbed a lot with a 2.5" level and those rims. They were 18x9.5 with 4.5 Backspacing -12 Offset hand to trim some metal and a bunch of plastic. I had xd monsters before that they were 18x9 with 5.71 Backspacing and +18 offset with no problems. Tires were 33.4x12.8
