My 4x4 has the factory chrome 20" rims, not what I wanted when I bought it new but the truck had everything else I wanted. My question is, does anyone know if they can be painted or what's under the fake chrome plastic cover on the wheels. My thought is instead of spending a grand on new wheels having a body shop paint them black, my truck is black, or what does the actual metal wheel look like behind that chrome wheel cover, and having the wheel painted black. Just a thought.
