Cracking throught toyo muds, when should i replace?

I just bout the truck 22 months ago and after 30008 miles the cracking between treads have gotten more noticeable. The tires have at least 30,000 miles to 35,000 on them judging they are 200750 tires and the look of the tires.

How much do they have left? 5,000 miles?

If they are cracking, it probably means dry rot. They should be replaced now.

41k miles on mine and I expect another 25k out of them judging by their excellent wear. I have minor age cracks in the sipes but thats it. Tires are also 2.5yrs old.

Well the cracks are pretty noticeable between the treads. They obviously were not rotated as they needed to be the fronts are worn alot more than backs.

The tires do have dry rot some and are gray in color between the treads. Think I can get another 3000 out of them.

I prefer to not have blow-outs or even attempt it, as they are not very fun....Lot cheaper to replace tires then truck and dr. bills over getting 3000 miles

That's true. I will be having it serviced in next week or so. See what they say. Trying to decide on getting a 6"lift lift or not. So I will have to make my mind up soon on 35s or staying withs 33s.

Keep in mind, most people really neglect the fact that mileage is not the only factor of wear/condition on a tire! A tire can have 5,000 miles on it and be close to shot. Most tires actually never make it to the tread being gone before the compound has changed enough to completely alter the handling and driving characteristics of the tire!

Yea that's very true. These appear to have some dry rot beginning. I've noticed it over the last 3000 miles. Ill let the shop look at them when I get serviced soon. Cracks are big enough on some I can pull them apart. Almost get a dime in between. Not quite.
