Towing and 22's????

I found a nice set of 22's I would like to get for my SC but also tow a camper and a boat with my truck. If I choose to get the wheels do you guys think i would run into any issues. Limited 22's 305/45/22 Nittos 2002 SC. Thanks in advance./

The big question would be the tires and I can find no specs for a Nitto 2002. Do you have a site where they are listed? I did look at Nittotire.com and no such thing.
You also do not say what truck this would be on. Year especially.

First question.....Are these limited f150 wheels off of a 2008/2011?

If your answer is YES....They will not work on your 2002 f150

2002 is a 5 bolt lug pattern.....2004+ is a 6 bolt lug pattern....

If you're looking at replacing the tires only....

Stock pirellis 275/45r22 load/speed index of 112v or 2484lbs/149mph

Nitto extreme force 305/45r22 load/speed index 118h or 2982lbs/130mph

Per the Nitto site, those are Nitto NT420S. It's specs are good enough for trailer towing, but I am not sure if you will need a leveling kit (4x2) or to crank your torsion bars (4x4) to fit as they are almost 33" in diameter. Also make sure the wheels can handle the weight of the truck.
One disadvantage is that with the low profile tires, your ride will be harsher, and you really do not want to lower air pressure below about 40-44. That could be dangerous.

They are "Limited 208's" with the nitto tires. They are the 12mm lugs but from what I have read here that lug holes will be good to go as the wheels are hubcentric. I was goinfg after a little better looks but did not want to lose the functionality of the truck...

I have 16 factories on it now with tires that equal 32.9" so I think I would be good to go. It is a 4x4. I was going to do the tierods and maybe ball joints in the spring put the 22's on then get it aligned.

If the wheels physically fit the truck and the tires are rated to haul the weight, there's not much of an issue.

Wheels also have a weight rating. As long as they have an adequate weight rating, at least 2000lbs, then it will be okay.

True, but I would assume that any wheel manufactured today is more than adequate to handle an F150's towing capabilities.

I was told that they came off a Lincoln Navi, so I can only assume that they will be fine.
